NICOLA VALLEY RESIDENTS HONOURED WITH HALL OF FAME INDUCTIONS

The Nicola Valley is well represented with inductees into the B-C Cowboy Hall of Fame this weekend.

Jesus Garcia, a pioneer rancher from the Nicola Valley, will be inducted in the pioneer category.

And, Butch Sahara of the Lazy L Ranch in Merritt is being honoured with the Working Cowboy award.

The presentations will be made during The BC Cowboy Heritage Society sponsored event in Kamloops.

It was also announced this week that a Merritt club owner will be recognized by the B-C Association of Country Music Awards in April.

Melvina While of Cactus Annie’s at the Merritt Desert Inn will be inducted into the BCCMA Hall of Fame on April 23.
